What this site is, how it works and how it is funded.
QLinky is an independent site with free tools for creating direct links: links that, with one tap, open a WhatsApp chat, an email already drafted, a calendar event, a phone call, a location on the map, a Telegram profile, an SMS or an Instagram message.
It was born from a specific need: getting a WhatsApp link with a message right is easy to explain and surprisingly easy to get wrong. An extra symbol in the number, an unencoded space or the wrong country code is enough for the link to open nothing. QLinky handles those details for you.
Everything happens in your browser. When you type a number or a message and press “Generate”, the link is built on your device; nothing you type is sent to our servers or stored. That is why there is no sign-up, no accounts and no link history.
That decision has a cost we prefer to state plainly: links can't be edited once created and they have no click statistics. If you change your number, you have to generate a new link. In return, your information never passes through us and the links don't depend on QLinky continuing to exist: they point straight to WhatsApp, Google or Telegram, with no intermediate redirects.
Each guide starts from each service's public documentation and from real tests of the links on phones and computers. When a behavior depends on the app or system version, we say so. And when a service changes its format, we correct the guide; if you find something out of date, let us know.
QLinky is free and has no paid plans. Costs are covered by advertising. We don't sell data, among other reasons because we don't have any. Details about advertising cookies are in the Privacy Policy.
QLinky is not affiliated with WhatsApp, Meta, Telegram, Google or any of the companies whose services are mentioned on the site. Names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe where each link leads.
